Ivan is an experienced legislator, having served eight years as the Member of Parliament for Harwich. Ivan has been a Parliamentary Private Secretary across four Government Departments, including the Home Office and the Treasury.

A former national docks official for the RMT Union, Ivan has over 20 years experience in the transport industry with extensive skills in local government and industrial relations issues.

Projects that Ivan has worked on include the successful approval of port developments at Bathside Bay in Harwich and at Felixstowe South, both on behalf of Hutchison Ports UK. He has also been involved in projects with Bedford Borough Council, Nirex, Unison and major rail companies.

Since the launch of the company in May 2008, Ivan has been working with the Passenger Transport Executive Group (PTEG) on the Local Transport Bill and advises the organisation on their wider political strategy.
